Jane has spent 24 years in the classroom, helping thousands of young people to make the next step into a career or higher education. Her roles have predominantly been with 16-19 year olds in GCSE mathematics and A level mathematics and further mathematics. Within these roles, she has also held middle and senior management positions within education, navigating some of the key changes in education over the last 20 years. Since leaving the classroom, Jane still continues to teach online and is also working in consultancy roles. Her roles have included helping to introduce project management office into a London university, working with county councils to improve their digital communication and also helped to build a consortium to secure grant funding for agricultural AI innovation.

Jane also oversees both the practical and financial side of a small farm in Somerset with her husband, as well as managing family life with their two young children.

Having previously worked in both independent and state education, Jane has experienced a huge breadth of students and colleagues and has an appreciation for the many different ways in which people engage with situations. She recognises different learning styles and is motivated by complex problems and people’s approach and interaction with them. She has a passion for statistics and loves all types of data analysis.

She brings her practical skills and fiercely logical thinking to Hornbeam Partners and is committed to working with likeminded experts and our clients to deliver exceptional results.
